The Restaurant
The Rose and Crown has a reputation for quality food and good service. We use only fresh, local ingredients prepared by expert chefs. We can offer both residents and non-residents either the relaxed comfort of a meal in the bars, where you can enjoy the local atmosphere or a more formal meal in the Dales Room restaurant, overlooking the village green.
The Dales Room can seat up to 80 people and is perfect for that special occasion; wedding receptions, birthdays and family get togethers. Why not consult us about your requirements and we really will make it a special day.
To complement your meal we offer a range of traditional beers, spirits and a selection of moderately priced, quality wines.
We cater for all dietary requirements and would be pleased to discuss them with you.
Children’s menu and packed lunches are available on request.
The Bars
The 3 bars are well stocked with quality wines, spirits, beers and lagers including the Black Sheep and Theakston local brews. There are 19 wines on the list at competitive prices to suit every palate; the house wines are sold by the bottle and the glass.
